Custom work by Nilson for Amstel Hotel

One of the most iconic buildings in Amsterdam, on the banks of the Amstel River, has been restored to its original state. The facade of the InterContinental Amstel hotel and the roof with all its ornaments have been fully restored. Part of the renovation of this prestigious hotel was also the renewal of the beds. Nilson delivered custom-made beds that fit seamlessly into the existing interior and supplied all 80 suites with comfortable box-spring beds. A historic building in the style of the Golden Age with the comfort and luxury of today make the Amstel Hotel a 'Grand Dame'.

It is a special edition that highlights the renovation of the prestigious hotel, which has just been completed. The crowning glory of the renovation is the restoration of the eight lions on the roof of the hotel. In the magazine Rijndert Fluit, founder of Nilson, tells about the history of Nilson and the pleasant cooperation during the renovation. Nilson provided all 80 suites with comfortable box spring beds.
