Serene suite in Rotterdam
Ton Sor Tun
In the heart of Rotterdam, Madelon Overeijnder designed a sophisticated apartment where tranquillity, comfort and premium materials come together. The master bedroom was completely opened up and transformed into a space with the ambience of a luxurious hotel suite. Here, Madelon created a serene bedroom defined by a refined tone-on-tone palette. Soft nuances, rich textures and natural materials create a sense of calm, depth and understated luxury. The bed is positioned in front of the expansive windows, offering panoramic views of the city. Throughout the apartment, warm tones, wood, marble, leather and rich textures create a calm yet layered interior. Here, luxury is not about excess, but about carefully selected materials, thoughtful detailing and a perfectly considered layout.
